World Cup Fever has hit The Ram like a Plague of Locusts. Everyone was playing tonight. And by everyone I mean not quite everyone but some.

Those that did play really took part. Most of the questions were about something or other and most people got them right or wrong.

The biggest cheer of the night was when the Jackpot prize of £149 wasn't won but I don't suppose my cheering really counts.

'John and Tonic' kicked the ball to the back of the net again and bagged themselves thousands of pence worth of bar tab. How many thousand? God knows. I'm a quiz master, not a scientist.

What I do know it was a damn good night and a damn good win and I for one win will certainly be come back again.
