We had a lovely evening of intellectual Olympic games at The Ram in Kingston this Sunday.

It was a bit like in one of those films where someone tries to do something and then it doesn't work out and then they go off and train and then come back and do it again and then it does work out.

Karate Kid was probably a bit like that even though I haven't actually seen it.
Rocky is probably a bit like that only I'm still not sure of the storyline. It might not be like that.

The Magnificent Seven with the actor Yul Brinner, the bald man, is a bit like that only its been a while since I've seen it.

It is actually based on the Akira Kurasowa movie the Seventh Samaria which is supposed to be very good but again I haven't seen it.

Anyway I digress, the point is tonight was a bit like that.

You're A Quizard Harry are a reformed team from days gone by, a team that didn't go very far and ended up in the gutter with nowhere to go (metaphorically)

But tonight they returned and this time they won, and they won big. They stormed into first place beating multiple winners PhD Nuroscientists into second place.

It was an amazing performance and a tough second round.

Well done Quizards and well done everyone else in the world.
