Quizmas Time, Cryptic Clues And Rhymes!

We began with two teams, we roped in some bystanders and with a late arrival we started with 5 for the final quiz of the year. It was a smooth first half, with some good scores at the break. "Tiffany & The Machine" were leading by a point with "Micky's Caravans" and "Big Boy Rob's Bday!" close behind...
The second half was a stinker though, with everybody struggling to score double figures.
"Micky's Caravans" held through to the end and won the £25.00 bar tab - not bad when they weren't even here for the quiz! "2 Guys and 1 Really Respectable Lady" came a close second, just a point behind the winners and "Tiffany & The Machine" slipped to third place.
The rollover jackpot was up to £168.00 but with 9 envelopes the odds were long. When quizzed on the IQ of Forrest Gump, "I Wish My Boyfriend Was As Hard As This Quiz!" guessed closest to the answer (75) and got to choose... drum roll please... and they WON!! They left very happy with a handful of cash to boost their Christmas coffers.
Next quiz is January 9th, have a great Christmas everybody, eat lots, drink well and leave the pens behind!
