Water, Water, Every Way

This evening had several rivers running through it, though no Brad Pitts to speak of, I'm afraid. The rivers in question were the Eurphrates, the Tigris, the Tiber and the Bosphorus (yes, technically a strait—but a waterway, certainly). All appeared as answers--some correct, some less so--to various watery conundrums. A second recurring motif were words beginning with an "m" and an "e", as in: melanin, melatonin, meldonium and megaladons. Sometimes, when I perceive these patterns, I come to think the cosmos is speaking to me through the medium of quiz. Other times I don't think this. Time! It passes. In the end, 4 Fags, No Cigarettes won the big prize with a resounding 32 points, while a lively group of friendless Neighbours took home a delicious bottle of red.
