A massive turnout in Moretown tonight with ten large teams battling it out—and battle they did, with some outright chest-thumping at the end there. With so many quizzers, let's just say it was a lively one. In the quiz itself Bruno Mars made a dual appearance, first in a question about his 2018 Best Album Grammy and then when he showed up in the audio round. In the end, however, the winners claimed glory via somewhere rather nearer than Mars. Namely, Ireland. Tonight's creative round had the teams producing a drawing inspired by all things Irish. As usual I waylaid one of the bar staff to serve as our objective judge and her decision to chose The Team With No Name's masterpiece (including a tasty quote from Yeats, no less) gave them a 2 point bonus that clinched them the quiz, narrowly pipping Marry Me Rob. Kudos and congrats all around! As for incorporating marriage proposals into your team name, I'm afraid there are no points for making me blush.
