Tie Breakers All Around as Quiztopher take the Win!

Fun night had by all tonight at The Moretown Belle. Four teams skipped their way through the quiz and by the halfway mark there was only 3 points separating all teams.

It was the ending however that was a first for me, as I say we had four teams playing for a top prize of a £50 bar tab from the lovely staff at the Belle, and for Second to Last a bottle of wine...well when it came to results time Fn’S and The Quizly bear were joined on 28 points, and our two lead teams The Wapping Wags and Quiztopher were joined on 38. So there was a bit of digging about for a few closest to questions! The first, for a bottle of wine was this In the Goonies, what year if on One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Treasure map? And, for the Grand Prize the question was How Many Days did Julian Assange stay at the Ecuadorian embassy? Well one answer is 1623 and one is 2487.

In the end the wine went to the Quizly Bears and the bar tab went to Quiztopher!

The Jackpot was not won this week so the roll over will be over £108 next week!
