A cold night at the Moretown Bell today—perhaps that’s why there was only two teams in a close fought head-to-head, featuring an uncharacteristic preponderance of American questions. There was the one about converting centigrade to Fahrenheit; the one about the FBI; the one about Barack Obama; and the one about which states have four consecutive consonants in a row. In the end, you might think the prize would go to the team with not one but two Americans on it—but not so! It was the all-UK Five Alabasters who won out, getting the £50 bar tab. But no worries, the Neighbours consoled themselves with a massive chunk of the jackpot, winning a whopping £151! Care to join them in the winner circle? Okay then, see you next week!
