Lots of quiz teams and lots of football at The Manor Arms last night. Not only was it the day on which the first World Cup game took place but there were also several footy questions in the quiz, one team had a member who works as a football coach and yet another team was made of three players from a local football team which had just played the last game of its season.
Nine teams played the quiz and in the end "Insert Quiz Pun Here" was the winning team whilst "Quizzy Rascals" got the chance to nominate a player to play for the jackpot. The jackpot player wasn't successful so next week the jackpot will be £382.
