It all started so well with five teams working hard to win a voucher worth £40 or if not so ambitious, for the second to last team a bottle of wine.
After a short time, the microphone and pa system started making some strange noises so two quizzers tried to sort the problem out. Both team members failed, so the rest of the quiz was read by quizmaster Richard Linton without any electronic help.
None of the teams had any difficulty hearing the questions and in the end, a regular team, 'The Hags' were once again successful. The wine was won by The Babingtonians and after another question, a team member from 'The Polar Bears' played for the jackpot. This time the player didn't win the jackpot and so next week it will be £354.
