Obviously not an easy set of questions this evening with only three scores in the 20's and the remainder in the teens. With team names such as "And the winner is ...." and "And in last place is ..." there were obviously some quite contrasting ambitions, none of which it has to be said were fulfilled!. All teams had everything to play for after the first half with only four points separating the top and bottom teams. Despite a surge in the second half of the quiz from "Poached Eggheads", it wasn't quite good enough to prevent "Onwards and Upwards" from winning the £40 bar voucher first prize. A tiebreaker was needed between "Chalfont Ladies" and "Seve Lawani" to determine the destiny of the £20 bar voucher prize for coming second last with the ladies prevailing once again.

Team, "The Winners are …." came 5th but did win the opportunity to draw from the remaining seven Jackpot envelopes for the £56 cash prize. They ambitiously and confidently picked envelope number 6 and other than a smile from the quizmaster, won el zippo, so the Jackpot cash prize increases to £74.50 and rolls over to next week's quiz night: Tuesday 5th February; 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.
