"The Bee's" are back with a buzz!

In what was a most convivial evening at the Jolly Famer, Mum and Dad of "The Bees" had to do as they were told! That said the strategy worked as they collected the £40 voucher first prize, albeit by a single point from "Hannah's Birthday" - many happy returns Hannah.

Competition for the £20 bar voucher second prize was equally stiff. "Dysfunctionals" had to be dragged in from outside (excuse the pun - 'dragged') as they were as always in the mix having tied for second last place with "Team Jolly". A tiebreaker question was therefore necessary with neither team frankly having any idea about cricket or the answer! "Team Jolly" however prevailed and took the prize and "Dysfunctionals" went outside for a few more drags!!

Despite the injuries incurred by one of the "Nincompoodles" team members from we understand to have been excessive chandelier swinging, they did win the opportunity to draw from the remaining Jackpot envelopes for the £90 cash prize. They were congratulated on being a winner but regretfully of a bag of crisps on this occasion. So the Jackpot cash prize increases to £107.50 and rolls over to next week's quiz Tuesday 3rd September.
