The "Absent Minded" "Chalfont Ladies" will "Bee Creative Here"

Albeit not much of a heading, it does include all the prize winners names - eat your heart out Elton! - from this evening's quiz at the Jolly Farmer. Starting with the £40 bar voucher first prize it was all very competitive with nine teams scoring 31 points or more and only 2 points separating the top six of those teams. "Absent Minded" ultimately prevailed by a single point from the "Village Idiots" with the remaining four teams only a point behind them. In noting the youngest member of the "Village Idiots" team instantly recognised brand picture question to be Trojan, mum was not overly happy! The £20 bar voucher second prize did require a tiebreaker to determine it's destiny. Needless to say "Chalfont Ladies" as always rallied in the second half of the quiz to be included in the tiebreaker with a new single player team "Bee creative here". Experience however told with the former prevailing. Well done "Chalfont Ladies".

Not to be out done however, "Bee creative here" won the opportunity to select from the four remaining Jackpot envelopes for the £114.50 cash prize. Envelope 9 was selected and whereas I'd more often than not report a roll-over to next weeks quiz, I can happily report the cash prize was won - many congratulations and thanks for the drink - therefore next weeks Jackpot cash prize will be £27.
