Although cooler inside than out, a tough quiz tonight. And so it proved with only 30 points being the best score from "Private Quizness", but sufficient to take the £40 bar voucher first prize by a single point from "Bendi Velvet", who themselves had a moral victory in their own right by beating "Quizness as Usual"!

All the usual suspects, "Chalfont ladies", "Neighbours", "The Business", "Quizy Rascals", "The Gray Roses" and even "Pork Scratchings", appeared to be targeting the £20 bar voucher second prize for coming second last, but believe it or not it was Desperados who prevailed - I note they got the marijuana question right without a problem!

"Pork Scratchings" did however win the 'closest to' question and had 5 in 1 chance of winning the £95 cash jackpot. Having decided to run with envelope number 3, the new husbands lucky number, the Jackpot cash prize increases to £114.50 and rolls over to next Tuesdays quiz, but I bet he enjoyed the promised retribution from his wife when he got home!
