One good turn deserves another!

And so it was in that "Helen the absent Dog" took the £40 bar tab first prize; their good turn being one of their lady team members very kindly went to the local shop to get replacement batteries for the faltering microphone. They did however cut it fine as they had a four point lead after the first half of the quiz that was reduced by "Greg and Nigel lost on the 18th" to one point at the end - no quarter (or short puts) given here! The evening's £20 bar tab second prize went to "Can you come back to us" although it was likewise very tight with the "Chalfont Ladies" similarly deserving something in return for the jam doughnuts, but who on this occasion were just to good.

Despite the Jackpot cash prize being won last week, this week's cash prize of £16.50 was played for with equal enthusiasm. "Quiz on my Face" won the opportunity to select from the ten envelopes and in selecting envelope number 8 the Jackpot increases to £35 and rolls over to next weeks quiz on Tuesday 25th June.
