No deliberate errors this week, well not many!

Just checking to see if you're on the ball and worryingly, you certainly seem to be. Anyway, a few mistakes makes for some good fun as was the case tonight.

Prizes were plentiful. Even "Aussies Abroad" who normally come last and win bugger all, won a 'drink on the house' spot prize, although it has to be said it was nearly taken away for being the 'wrong drink' as per the defined process and procedures - a bit like the wrong type of rain or leaves on the line - but fortunately, common sense prevailed. With a number of previous winners competing this evening, it was effectively a clash of the Titans for the £40 bar voucher first prize. "Team at the Bar" had a good start leading after the first half of the quiz. They however flattered to deceive in the second half, or was it the wine? - too much perhaps or maybe not enough. Our more recent 'Titans' in the form of "Onwards and Upwards" and "Living the Dream" both scored an impressive 22 points in the second half of the quiz, but the single point difference between the two teams from the first proved critical and meant the latter took the prize. As for the £20 bar voucher second prize for coming second last, "The three Quizkateers" felt confident but need I say more than "Chiltern Ladies" were in the house! How do they do it? The evening was not over however for the "The three Quizkateers" as they won the opportuning to select from the Jackpot envelopes for the £85.50 cash prize. With seven envelopes left there wasn't any expectation of them picking the right one, but they did!! Excitement personified.
