Although it has to be said plenty of other synonyms were also given as answers! Anyway, it was again a battle of the titans for this evening's £40 bar voucher first prize between "Onwards & Upwards" and "Living the Dream". With a fair bit of domestic mutiny going on over answers they should have put on the answer sheet, the latter conceded the prize to the former by a clear three points. In not having "Chalfont Ladies" in the house this evening the £20 bar voucher second prize was open to all-comers and who should pop up to take the prize, but non other than our rapper experts, the "Desperados".

"The Part-Timers" won the opportunity to select from the Jackpot envelopes for the £22 cash prize and in selecting envelope number 8 unfortunately won absolutely nothing. On the plus side however, the Jackpot cash prize increases to £35.50 and rolls over to next week's quiz on Tuesday 19th November when we do it all again.
