"Inert but Noble" in both play and presence!

A lively but convivial evening was had by all at this evening's Quiz Night at the Jolly Farmer in Chalfont St Peter. Whereas most teams normally fair better in the first half of the quiz than the second, "The Gruffalos" bucked the trend by gaining the top score in the second half of the quiz. It was however not quite good enough to beat "Inert but Noble" who took the £40 bar and food voucher first prize despite scoring less points in the second half of the quiz than the second half.

"Team at the Bar" were not at the bar this evening, which probably accounted for their below par performance. They were however rewarded by winning the £20 bar and food voucher second prize for coming second last.

All teams concentrated to try and win the opportunity to draw from the five remaining envelopes to win the Jackpot cash prize of £94. "IQ Magic" got the exact age of Thomas Edison when he died and in selecting envelope number 4 were winners ............. of a bag of crisps only. The Jackpot cash prize therefore increase in value to £108.50 and rolls over to next week's Quiz Night on Tuesday 24th April; 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.
