Apparently George Best and Aryton Senna are immortalised by a bronze statue in a Southport shopping arcade!?!?

Albeit perhaps a tougher quiz than usual, the headline above did typify some of the answers this evening. I'm surprised Gaza didn't get a mention in the context of this question as he probably ate a bit of Red Rum!
Anyway, anything in the thirties was a good score this evening and only "Be creative Greg" and "Top knots Tissues" achieved that with the former piping the later by a single point to take the £40 bar voucher first prize. As for the £20 bar voucher second prize, with the exception of "Oakey Kokey" who I think were predictably destined for last place from the outset, - don't take it to heart as you were great fun, - I don't believe it to be unfair to say from the final scores that more than half the teams were in with a shout for this prize. That said, if I were a betting man and had studied the form I'd have put my money on "Chalfont Ladies", and sure enough they came up trumps again. How do they do it?
With a Jackpot cash prize of £90.50 this evening, we had to run two closest to questions to isolate who would select from the remaining seven Jackpot envelopes. Following a tiebreaker "Oakey Kokey" narrowly missed out to "I'm an Idiot", who loved it each time I had to say their team name, but regretfully they selected envelope number 5, so the Jackpot cash prize increases to £110 and rolls over to next weeks quiz on Tuesday 26th March; 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start as usual!
