Two Heads Are Better Than One, Or Three, Or Four...

Tonight in The Bookcase Bar at The Jam Tree in Clapham Old Town, no less than 9 brave teams took to the tables to battle it out for the highly coveted £50.00 bar tab, and my oh my did they impress us with their general knowledge!

Teams ranged in size from 2 to 8, and while it is a truth universally acknowledged that 2 heads are better than one, it seems that this week it is also true that size isn't everything. While the second highest score (39.5) was reached by two of our larger teams consisting of 6 or more players (very well done to returning team "The RC4" and new-comers "Les Quizerables"), this week's winners with an amazing 41 points were the notorious returning duo, who were tonight sporting the team name "Hired Goons".

But there was exceptional quizzing all round tonight. A special mention goes to another duo "Los London", who impressed us with their knowledge of Russian architecture, American TV series from the 80's, and the US Constitution.

It was lovely to see so many new faces at this week's quiz, and we do hope to see you all again soon! In the meantime, have a wonderful bank holiday weekend! :)
