No Rest for the Wicked this Bank Holiday Weekend

It is with great delight we are able to report that there were 27 brave competitors who chose to spend their Bank Holiday Sunday quizzing in The Bookcase Bar in Clapham this evening. And what a competition it was!

There were no less than 6 teams competing tonight, with a 50/50 split of new teams, and some of our beloved returning ones. And it really was a battle between old and new this week as first-timers "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Minutes" vied for the top spot with regulars (and current title holders) "Drawing of a Cok". In the end "Drawing of a Cok" managed to hold on to their title with an amazing 42 point win, but should look out for the new-comers who were hot on their heels, scoring 40 points, only 2 points below the winners.

A special mention must go out to "Cardiff City Premier League Bound" who got the 3rd highest score (34 points) and consisted of only 2 players. Some seriously good quizzing from you guys! We were SO impressed, and hope to see you again!

We look forward to next week's quiz and seeing if anyone will be able to challenge "Drawing of a Co*k's" phenomenal winning streak. Good luck quizzers, these guys are amazing!!!
