Mums Always Know Best

When it comes to a quiz, it turns out it isn't what you know that matters, but what your mum knows! And this Mother's Day, we were honoured to have a record number of mums quizzing with us in The Book Case Bar at The Jam Tree in Clapham. Any seasoned quizzer will tell you that the more diverse your team members, the wider your pool of general knowledge, and with so many parent-child combinations in the room, the average scores were at a definite high!

Across the teams, the scores remained pretty close throughout the match, and while "Team Bert", our beloved returning trio of Irishmen did their best to win back their title, it was "The Coopers" all the way from Newcastle, comprising of two handsome lads and of course one seriously gorgeous Mum who claimed the victory tonight with a whopping 43.5 points! Perhaps if "Team Bert" had brought their mum with them things might have gone their way, because if proof was ever needed that "Mummy knows best", all the evidence required was in Clapham Old Town this Mothering Sunday.
