Usually a drizzly night is not a good thing but, in Loughton, it meant the weather had warmed up a bit and people were ready to warm up their brains for the weekly Quiz! There was a slight Central European feel permeating throughout the quiz this week and the lands of good beer and joviality were just the ticket for our thirsty crowd. Thankfully, none of our teams got salty when 'Salzburg', Austria, was revealed as the European city that literally translates as 'Salt Town' in German. Whilst our teams were dreaming of the upcoming Dog Days in summer, they might have known that the Rottweiler is a dog that originates from Germany. Finally, the only Pole to have come first, crossing that famous F1 checkered flag pole was Robert Kubica; only our dedicated racing fans knew this one! Pack it Matt won for the second time retaining their title with 35 points, after a few dry weeks, and Just Us Two made it two bottles of wine on the bounce, getting 26 points!
