After all that research, nobody got the Berlie bra logo!?!?

Fifteen teams competed this evening included in which we welcomed back some faces that we'd not seen for a while and also plenty of new faces. The aptly named "Virgins" and the "Novices" were among the new faces as were the "Mudpluggeres", "Quizzing in the name of" and "We've come with Nothing", who dare I say likewise left with nothing!
It was suggested that perhaps the "Virgins" team up with the "Sexy Sausages", but I'm not sure their respective parents would have approved.

Anyway, with bras, virgins and sexy sausages, I digress when I should be reporting on the Quiz. It is however difficult when the team named "I'm not saying your mother is a thief, but I've seen her snatch" scored a magnificent 38 points only to loose out on the £40 bar voucher first prize following a tiebreaker to "Not sure Yet". Be disciplined, no more digression. So onto the £20 bar voucher prize for coming second last. Oh no, I've got to mention "Sexy Sausages" again (be disciplined) insofar as they came last and in so doing did "Amy's Angels" a great favour by way of making them the prize winner.

In winning the 'closest to' question to select from the remaining seven Jackpot envelopes for the £150 cash prize, "Not sure yet" had the opportunity to clean this evening but did the honourable thing, so the cash prize rolls over to next week's quiz on Wednesday 13th November when we do it all again. PS. A mention also for the bishop (Chris) from "One stinking bishop and a laughing Cow" to wish him well as they had to retire hurt half way through the quiz as he was suffering from a bout of man flu, and we all know how bad that can be. Get well soon.
