Tide Of Tranquility Trumps “Trio” (But Only Just)

Making a welcome return to The Hare and Billet’s Wednesday night pub quiz (the finest trivia test in SE3), Tranquil Jokers also made it a victorious return. Despite being 50% down on their usual team size, these calm chaps bagged a £50 bar tab with a splendid score of 37 points. It was a very narrow victory, though, with fellow regulars The Chris Palmer Trio (confusingly comprised of four players tonight) just missing out by a single point on 36, and third place was shared by Wikipedia and F***ing Tokyo (who were clearly STILL bitter about a question from last week) who both scored 33. The much coveted reward for coming second last this week went not to Second To Last (who were sadly last on 23), but to Extreme Leaf Fall who won a voucher for a bottle of wine for scoring a still-relatively-respectable 27 points.
