“Quimtet” With Cojones Conquer Quiz

A new year, a new decade, a new set of quiz champions at SE3’s finest pub quiz. Having challenged here before under different monikers, they picked a stand-out name to triumph for the first time at The Hare & Billet.

Quintet (“quimtet”?) Not Involving My Genitals took home the £50 bar tab first prize after a stunning second half display gave them a grand total of 38 points, a full three points ahead of regulars and tonight’s runners-up Slartibartfast, with Quizteama Aguilera in third on 34 points after their own superb second half.
The battle at the foot of the table for the consolation prize was a lot more closely fought, as The Dunces and George Beechey’s Tampon were tied for second last on 27 points apiece. However, on a quickfire tiebreaker, GB’sT were faster to the bell with the correct answer, and for that they took home a voucher for a consolatory bottle of wine.
