That old, familiar name has once again clambered to the top of the quiz pile at The Hare and Billet, Blackheath, but not by much. Down to only four members this evening, The Tabasco Fiasco took the £50 bar tab first prize with a solid winning score of 35 points. Things were close as newcomers Rose’s Itches were only a point away in second place on 34, and third placed The Careless Whispers were another point further back on 33, so TF had plenty of worthy challengers: it’s still all to play for at The H&B. The prize for second last tonight went to The Tooth Fairies who bagged the usual consolation prize of a wine voucher with a far more modest total of 19 points.
