Contestants at this evening’s quiz at The Hare & Billet found things pretty difficult, ad s across the board we saw some lower-than-usual scoring. However one team managed to negotiate the tricky trivia course and continued their rich run of recent success. Tonight the top honours went once more to The Chris Palmer Trio. Their grand total of 34 points was enough for them to regain their quiz crown and add another £50 bar tab to their collection. Two teams (Real Social Dads and The Prep Boys) were their closest challengers tied for 2nd on 32, and The Dogmatists held on to “bronze medal” spot on 31. The fight was just as keen at the bottom of the table, as the honour of coming 2nd last came down to a tiebreak. Blackheath Babes and Beastridge were deadlocked in last place with 18 points apiece, so after a quickfire tiebreaker it was Beastridge who walked away with a voucher for a bottle of wine.
