Tonight The Bride!

There is a song called "Why am I always the bridesmaid never the blushing bride". The theme of the song is that the lady singing it is always second best. The same thing can apply to quiz teams.
Every week the team tries it's best but never manages to win and then one day - it happens!
Last night at The Eagle a regular team which has in the past achieved second place finally managed to make it to the top. Perhaps the new team name, (based on the only news story or so it seems), "Self Quaranteam" helped secure victory.
Well done guys and maybe next week having tasted victory, there will be a repeat performance.
