A Long Way To Travel For A Quiz.

There is no dispute over the popularity of quizzing. It is a fun way to spend an evening with a few extra benefits too. Keeping the brain active, increasing one's knowledge and of course the chance of winning a prize - at The Eagle last Wednesday, the chance to win £112 in cash.
Reason enough to play the quiz surely but travelling from Colorado in the US is perhaps a tad extreme. A lovely couple on holiday in the UK decided to join the fun and although not winning, still had a fun evening playing along with twelve other teams and players from Australia, France and Italy.
The winning team was "R L F C" a team which has enjoyed success in the past, playing this time with only three members but still able to head off the opposition. Will it be two in a row - come along next week to find out!
