Only just over a month to go before Christmas and everyone at The Eagle last night was in a party mood.
Some great team names as always and some very large teams, the biggest having no less than nine players.
A query arose over a question about the seven deadly sins with a member of one team claiming that avarice was an acceptable answer. In the end it was agreed that this would be taken into consideration if there was a tie-break situation with the team in question one of the teams involved.
Although two teams finished with the same score at the end of the quiz, all the players from both teams decided that as we are nearing the season of goodwill to all, the cash prize of £150 would be split between the two teams, making £75 for each.
A happy ending to a great night of quizzing.
