The Wittymen win wittily!

The Wittymen took the gold at the Draft House Chancery Lane on Tuesday night, beating runners-up Lamy by just one point. Lamy nonetheless took home the bottle of wine for second place.
The honours (and some very nice beers) went to Debs Couldn't Make It, who boosted their score with the bonus points from round 2's free drinks question.
Round 1's free drink and bonus points went to Nicce Guys Finish Last, while the creative round went to Fresh Meat. Teams were challenged to write some new lyrics for a well-known Christmas song. Amid strong competition, their (very rude & extremely of-the-moment) version of 12 Days of Christmas was the favourite of the judging staff. The quizmaster attempted to sing all the entries (and certainly butchered a few new versions of Last Christmas!) Honourable mention should go to I Thought This Was An Open Quizlationship who agreed to sing their version of Let Them Know It's Christmas in a packed pub when the quizmaster forgot the tune! (And it sounded great!)
