Thanks ever so much for coming along, and to the by-standers who nodded in, or unaccountably forgot to go home when they'd finished their dinner - LOOK INTO MY EEEYYYES....YOU ARE GOING TO FORM A QUIZ TEAM....

The team that named themselves out loud wee undoubtedly quick, and fine deductive thinkers, as well as knowing stuff, but Quizzly and Wisemen, squirrelled away quietly and showed great promise ( ever so modestly,) as well as keeping the quiz host on his toes with shrewd questions.

It's early days here, but I was really struck by a lovely mix of backgrounds and fields of knowledge. And for those that like a pub where you can hear yourself think, and are promptly served by by nice people without having to lip-read, this is the place to do a quiz, even while you're having dinner. So: roll along in nice time for our 7:30 start, and we'll see if fun can't be had.

Don't forget the winning team gets the WHOLE entry pot, as things stand. So, the more friends ( or even opponents) you bring back with you next week the better.
