What a crepe affair

Yes, it was Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday and the pub put on some crepe specials to celebrate it. I gave a bonus point for the first team to order a plate but it didn't help 'Sorry We're So Crepe' who got in there first. They came last in the quiz but did win a bonus snack and some maltesers. Not a bad effort.

In the end, a solid performance in both halves meant that 'Baxter's Bottom' finished a fair bit in front. Just in front of 'Sounds of Fatness' who placed second after a few weeks out. Where have you guys been? I've missed you. Good to have them back.

Honourable mentions go to 'The Double Js' who only had two people but came in third place. They also won the closest to question with their transcontinental road trip knowledge but were unable to pick out a Queen.

Also worth a mention, was 'Three Blind Mice' who scored their highest score despite being let down by some 'tired' teammates. It's good to know who your mates are.

Jackpot now stands at a whopping £166 which is worth a punt, even on a rainy Tuesday.
