How do they get so close every time?

Another week, and another week with the jackpot not won by the It Takes team. This week, they had seven players (for which they were fined a point), and between them, they have some very random knowledge. And don't tell me they Googled the answer, I don't give them enough time for that. Unfortunately for them, they've still yet to grab a windfall, despite getting closest-to for four our of the last six weeks.

The quiz itself was a fruity affair with teams constantly trading places at the top and bottom of the rankings. Sounds came from a few points behind to waltzing to a four point victory. And the team who could have done with Lizzie in the end, had to settle with a bottle of wine, despite being poised for the win at half time.

Lots of couples in tonight, which means Quiz Night at the Dev is definitely Date Night at the Dev. It has been the scene of many a first date but this week we had a fourth date — still drinking and smiling when I left — so it maybe it's my mellifluous voice or maybe it's the thirst to show off knowledge but either way, I hope to see the romance continue.
