Bank Holiday Quizzing.

It's always interesting to find out the origin of a team name. Last night at The Devonshire Arms regular Monday evening quiz team names included the "Terts", named after the high school which two team members attend, we also had "New Kids On The Block", a team which hadn't quizzed here before but the nmae I thought the most interesting, "The Day After The Roast".This really got me wondering so I asked and was directed to a sign on the wall which read, "Every Sunday It's Roast At The Devonshire Arms". The quiz takes place on a Monday so QED!
Five teams played the quiz and in the end with two teams on 28 points, a tie-break decided the winning team - "Orange Sloths"! I must ask next week!!
