Football and Festivities!

It was a busy night down Hammersmith way, with Fulham playing Ipswich at home the quiz had to be squeezed in between the departing and returning hordes. We had a compact group tonight, with a few couples and no big teams, which made for a cosy atmosphere. No jackpot round tonight, but plenty of free drinks given away, which always proves popular!
Runaway winners tonight were The Italian Rush Job, back spending their winnings from a previous visit, only to have to repeat the process in the new year! Looking forward to their return, even if the other teams may not be! A strong international contingent tonight, with quizzers from NZ, the US & Canada, some Europeans (possibly French & German?) and even an Ozzie or two, which always makes for a fun night. Just 2 more quizzes left this year at the Crab - hope to see you all there!
