Crabtree Resurgence

A large turnout for the first quiz of the year at the Crabtree this week. Helped in no large part by a party of 22 medical students, who made up 4 of the teams! And what a high calibre of teams they were - producing not only the winning team, but also 2 of the 3 teams in the 2nd place tie-break! Previous winners Quizzy Rascals also made a somewhat depleted appearance, and it's always good to welcome back If a Quiz is quizzical, what is a test? and not only for their humorous team name! A gregarious gaggle of girls provided an extra frisson of volume to the evening, which always goes down well - despite the lack of mic. All in all, a positive start to the quizzing year, and long may it continue!
