Quiz Concludes Comfortably (And Just A Little Confusingly)
Graeme W
Tonight’s quiz at The Bohemia came down to the wire with a tiebreaker, and the two teams competing could not sound more English. After 40 questions regulation play, Somewhat Confused and Comfortably Average we’re tied on 37 points, with Coalition Of Chaos one point back on 36, and Thirty Ducks and Prince Andrew’s Foot Masseuse were both on 35. So the winner had to be decided by a numerical tiebreak question. In the end, while both of the top teams were way off the mark, mathematically Comfortably Average were closer to the correct answer than Somewhat Confused (although both teams were a little confused, to be fair) and took home the £50 bar tab first prize. The much-valued prize for coming second from bottom of the quiz table tonight went to Quizzie Rascals, who picked up a bottle of wine for their 26 point score.
