Joining these two regular quiz forces was always going to bear fruit some day, and by the skin of their teeth Odd Socks achieved that tonight. With Katatonia and Amazon Fire Sticks tied two points back on 32, after 40 questions Odd Socks and Replacement Bus Service could not be separated on 34 points apiece. Even as it went to a tiebreaker, their numerical answers were only a sliver apart, but OS edged it in the end, taking home a hard-won £50 bar tab first prize. Way further down the table, the honour of coming 2nd to last tonight went to Pedders + 1, who managed to bag a consolatory bottle of red for managing to scrape together 14 points.
