The standard of quizzery at The Bohemia this evening was even higher than usual. At the halfway point, more than half of the 15 team field managed scores in the twenties and those high scoring teams had only 2 points margin between them.
In the end, though, one team broke from the leading group and raced to the finish line 3 points ahead of their nearest challengers.
It was "The Great Poonami Of 2018" who took home the £50 bar tab first prize with a fine winning total of 41 points. Just behind them in joint 2nd were a trio of teams with an excellent 38 points each: "Hockmanites", "Coalition Of Chaos" and "The Sockrobbers".
Taking the consolation prize for the dubious achievement of coming second-last, the almost appropriately named "Losers" scored 17 points, and got their quizzing mitts on a bottle of white wine for their efforts!
