Etonians Make A Hot Mess Of Three-Way Tie

It was the second last Bohemia pub quiz before Christmas, and all through the house, EVERYONE was stirring, and with good reason: a three-way tiebreaker at the top and another brand new band of quiz champions.

Tonight's was a very tight contest that saw regulars and frequent winners 'The Sockrobbers' and 'Katatonia' back at mid-table level, 'Humbuggers' on 33, 'Comfortably Average' on an above average 34, and at the top 'Sunday Roast Club', 'Straight Outta Craggy' and 'Eton Mess' all on 35 points in regulation quiz time.

In the end, though, the benefits of an 'Eton' education won out (NB. none of them went to the actual Eton College) as the Mess were the closest in their tie-break answer, and so took home the £50 bar tab first prize.

The prize of a bottle of wine for second last (in another close competition at the foot of the table) went to 'Copper Brown 2: This Time It's Personal' (a film we'd all like to see, I'm sure) who scored 27 points, which is not bad at all, and certainly a very good score for second last.
