As Carole King once sang "When your down and troubled, and you need to stay 2m away from each other, still brave the weekly pub quiz at Beer Hawk, Farringdon". And brave it we did. And WHAT a quiz it was!

Coming up the rear we had the lovely VS I LOVE YOU. Excellent quizzing from this newbie team - can't wait to see you again soon! And then, in bronze medal position, we have second newbies of the night, the excellently named: IF A QUIZ IS QUIZZICAL, WHAT IS A TEST? (Great shout with the name, Iman). This fabulous gang made a new friend at the beginning of the night, and it was a beautiful display of quizzing, companionship and pure bantz. Big up Sarah from Warsaw. And big up the rest of the team: Sophie, Alex, Sophia, Ella, Alex, Iman and Hannah.
Then, just pipped to the post, we have previous winners who were enjoying their £50 bar tab, APOCALYPSE IS NOW. Kate, Alex, Dave and Daniel - what a team! Some EXCELLENT cryptic tube station knowledge displayed here. Not so hot on lions and dogs (but to be fair - and not wanting to sound un-woke - all dogs look the same to me too, Kate). In first place, with an impressive 43 points, we have superteam, SPITBALLIN 4 INEBRIATION. Wah hoo! Kristian, Dave and Kendra - spiffing effort, as always. Very consistent quizzing and very good Moldovan pop band knowledge. Congrats on another £50 bar tab and be sure to have a cafe patron for Segay (who is forever in our hearts).
