The Big Fact Hunt wins!

After last weeks ridiculous numbers I was approaching last nights trivia with equal parts excitement and trepidation... What if the numbers remained that high!? Could the venue handle that? Would the noise put off my regulars with the less than stellar acoustics? Would this be the beginning of my inevitable stratospheric rise to fame?
However it was not to be...
Possibly due to Coronavirus concerns and possibly due to luck last week it seems things are very much back to normal...
However we had an incredible return of a number of previous teams from previous weeks with the MTA rejoining the fold and also a return of the Monumentals! Not to mention the Witty Schnitties who very nearly won the evening!
However it was once again the combined trivia might of Kirily, Mike, Bernadette and team with their slightly filthily named Big Fact Hunt team that came out on top... Due in no small part to a rather liberal spread of bonus points...
We did lose a team halfway through and that was sad, we also didn't have Rhys in the house, sadder still... However we will be back next week, which also happens to be St Patrick's day so many drinks will be drank and questions answered and until then stay tuned, same bat time, same bat channel! :)
