Excel-lent Quizzers? They really are!

Excel-lent Quizzers took the gold at the Wigmore on Monday evening, boosting their score with the bonus points from the creative round. Teams were challenged to create a 'time capsule' containing note, song, book and objects of their choice. Amid strong competition, their survival kit containing various useful items (including Corona beer) was the favourite of the judging staff & netted them the points.
The honours for second-to-bottom (or runners-up this week) were Mine's A Bottle Of Bolly, who also took the free drink and bonus points in round 1. They spun the #wigmorewheel of prizes, and grabbed themselves a snack on the house.
Round 2's free drink and bonus points went to California Crew.
Mine's A Bottle Of Bolly also won the bonus point for funniest wrong answer of the evening. Their answer to the '3 stages of childbirth' question was too rude to write here, but was both hilarious and an accurate depiction of the emotions experienced.....!
