California Crew are the winners who took it all!

It was very much California Crew's night at the Wigmore on Monday evening, as they took not only both free drinks & attendant bonus points but also won the creative round and the funniest wrong answer (Iceland's currency? Fish.....) en route to winning the overall £50 prize!
The creative round had teams providing new lyrics to well-known Christmas songs, and amid very strong competition the California Crew's version of 'Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer' starring Rudy GiulianI was a hit with the judging staff.
Despite their success in the bonus rounds, the overall victory was ultimately decided by a tense tiebreaker between the California Crew and newbies The Smiths. Luck was with them as it had been all evening though, and they grabbed the gold to top off a very successful night's work!
Another newbie team, The Leftovers, took the honours (and bottle of wine) for second-to-bottom.
