This week's pub quiz at the White Horse brought a good few teams, many of whom had played before, but a few of whom were trying the quiz out for the first time! Every team came out with a very respectable score, but inching out in front were Pen Island & Hot Garbage, both of whom were given a tiebreaker question to determine a winner.

On top of that, the half-time game included coming up with a pick-up line. There were some witty ones, some cheesy ones, and some that absolutely will not be repeated here. But when all was said and done, I found myself gravitating towards the Boom Bowlers': "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Because it looks like you messed up your face."
