Despite Southern Rail's antics, buffonishness and generally anti-worker, anti-consumer practices causing total chaos on all trains anywhere Southeast of London Victoria, the White Hart's quiz was able to start on time and without excess overcrowding - something Southern Rail could probably learn from.

With a chipper look in his eye that said "I have just spent two hours trying to cross London on a variety of transport vectors that are very certainly NOT the train I have paid for", quizmaster Tim was nonetheless able to ask a sequence of questions which can then be used to rank teams in order of moral exactitude, as well as knowledge of Australian shopping centres.

The jackpot grows and grows - what is it? Nobody knows. Where is it? No one is quite sure. When will it arrive? Haven't a clue. Southern Rail, eat your heart out.

Despite everybody's difficulties in reaching the venue, the quiz was lovely - so if you're in the Crystal Palace area, do come down, say hello, and have a go at winning a £50 bar tab or bottle of wine and have some decent beer in the meantime.
