In my humble experience as a Question One quiz master, the average score for a team ranges from around 22 - 31 with most teams scoring somewhere in the middle. Each quiz consists of 40 questions and as I’m sure you can imagine, they become harder as the quiz goes on. And it’s not like Who wants to be a millionaire where you’re granted the luxury of the answer hidden amongst the question, oh no. With Question One it’s up to you to figure out the most googled person of 2018 (Meghan Markle) or which state is the US produces the most coffee (think Barack Obama). So I honestly have a lot of respect and admiration for the average team that reaches 25 because a lot of the time even I’m caught thinking (God who on Earth knows the answer to that)
So can you imagine my surprise when I arrive at the conclusion of Westow House (B-E-AUTIFUL Pub) Pub quiz to discover that almost every team had a higher score than 30!! I mean come on! I know their a pub of avid quizzers but blimey there are some hidden geniuses in there. So if you’re reading this and you’ve taken part in a quiz and thought yourself a bit of a brain box, take the plunge and head into Crystal Palace on a Tuesday night and see if you’ve got what it takes to beat these juggernauts of trivia. I must warn you, come prepared with a sensational team name because they’ve even got that covered there too!
