Quiztopher's B*tch Slap The Opposition!

It was the first Quiz of September at the Star of the East and also the first day that the children went back to school. Whilst the kids are away, the adults will play! To make people feel less sad about the end of the summer holidays, there were lots of countries this week. The wilier of our contestants knew that Agatha Christie character Hercule Poirot was a citizen of the nation of Belgium and the more emerald eyed of our pub dwellers would've known that Mary Robinson was the first female President of the country of Ireland. If Europe didn't quite tickle your taste buds, then the picture question revealed the outline of Cuba in the Caribbean and the country that planned to move it's capital city was Indonesia! Quiztopher's B*tches won by the tiny margin of one point, getting 31 in the process and Dumb & Dumber shows that it pays to be 2nd from bottom and grabbed the wine with 15 points! With an eye watering £195 still to be won in the Jackpot next week, it's all to play for...
