It's the Luck of the Devil for 668!

Food was the order of the day for the locals of the Star of the East, with many tables loaded with the menus delicious fare- making any onlooker, reading out the Quiz questions, very jealous! Our teams were determined to 'tuck' in, knowing that 'tuck' was the diving shape missing from the list of 'free', 'pike' and 'straight'! There were no mixed up contestants this evening, just a question about mixed up fruit, which most correctly answered as the tag line for the drink Vimto. We had some very high scores, half the teams getting over 30 points- one could say they were on a 'roll', especially when it came to naming the vegan sausage roll as the reason for Gregg's the bakers share price surge of 2019! In the end, however, it would be '668- The Neighbours of the Devil' who were way ahead of the opposition, scoring 40 and winning by 6 points. In a tense tiebreaker, it was the Fantastic 4 who held their nerve and answered the quickfire question correctly to win the bottle of wine. With the cash jackpot now reaching £61 for next week, eclipsing the 1st prize, it's worth entering for the chance to win with just one question and a game of cards...
